Major Projects

Blagoveshchensk CHP, Russia, The Amur Region

Range of works (design, supply, construction and installation works) for block no.4 with capacity of 120 MW construction of Blagoveshchensk CHP.

Our company entered into the project execution as Prime Contractor consultant. Later for process optimization company created Lonas Tekhnologia JSC Krasnoyarskiy branch and in February 2015 the branch became the main contraction organization of General Contractor. During that period additional agreements were concluded for completing of large amount of equipment with components.

In December, 2015 pulverized-coal unit as part of boiler with capacity of 420 tons of steam per hour, steam turbine T-120-130 type, generator with capacity of 130 MW successfully passed the tests. In March, 2016 the 1st phase of construction acceptance report was signed.

The scope of the second phase includes following works:

  • cooling tower no.4 construction;
  • reconstruction of coal field conveyor system and unfreezing mechanism;
  • onshore pump station reconstruction;
  • reconstruction of second elevation ash-pump house;
  • laying of additional ash and slag line;
  • range of works for reconstruction of water supply and sewage external networks, road surfacing and landscaping.

Norilsk CHP-1, Russia

Installation of 30 MW turbine, design and equipment revision, constructional and installation and start-up works.

In July, 2014 Lonas Tekhnologia JSC concluded the agreement with MMC Norilsk Nickel for Norilsk CHP-1 technical re-equipment with middle-pressure turbines replacement.

The purpose of the project was to compensate the retired capacity and to provide the coverage of electric and heat power demand at the site of Norilsk industrial region and, as result – production efficiency improvement.

The scope of works includes design and detailed documentation development within the following objects:

  • turbine no.1 with generator (30 MW);
  • boiler group no.1;
  • group control board no.1;
  • ventilation system of CHP-1 turbine house;
  • installation of demineralized water tanks with pumping node, unit of demineralized water heating and pumping;
  • auxiliary compressor station.

For such project implementation the staff of Lonas Tekhnologia JSC Krasnoyarskiy branch was involved.

Mounting turbine unit is Czech Republic production. At the outset the present turbine was condensate type, but after the induction part reconstruction became for operating in back-up pressure conditions.

Gusinoozersk CPP, Gusinoozersk, the Republic of Buryatia

Gusinoozersk CPP is the largest condensing power plant in Transbaikal region and one of the biggest industrial enterprises in the Republic of Buryatia and nearest regions, and also heat energy to Gusinoozersk consumers.

Lonas has performed several successful projects for Gusinoozersk CPP since 2008 (including the competences of Tomsk branch).

2008. Design documentation for extension of slurry pond no.2.

2012. Full scope of design, equipment supply and erection supervision for technical re-equipment of 210 MW power generating unit no.4 with pulverized coal-fired boiler, steam turbine, electrical facilities and coal-handling equipment replacement. The power generating unit was commissioned in 2013.

2013. Technical re-equipment of Gusinoozersk CHP common plant assets to ensure the technical parameters and indicators of power generating unit no.4 alongside its combined work with other power generating units.

2013. Design of 200 MW pulverised-coal unit, steam turbine upgrade, generator excitation system supply. Works completed in 2013.

Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works, Lipetsk, Russia

Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works, a Russian metals company, produces 21 % of Russian steel.

Nizhniy Tagil Iron and Steel Works, Nizhniy Tagil, Russia

Nizhniy Tagil Iron and Steel Works is the largest metals manufacturer in Russia; the plant has been in operation for over 50 years.

Kharanor CPP, Yasnigorsk, Russia

Kharanorskaya CPP extension with 225 MW unit no.3 installation.

Design documentation is performed with applying such modern technical solutions as installation of low-temperature heat exchanger allowing to reduce the temperature of exhaust gas by 34 ̊; unit heat grid upgrading; applying of burner arrangements and process methods of firing improving of efficiency of combustion procedure; steam extraction for district heating and other.

Project update and detailed design elaboration in a scope of power unit no.1 start-up complex.

During the design documentation elaboration offers of manufacturing works were taken into account. The offers were oriented to work efficiency improvement. The modern gas-purifying equipment of “Alstom Power Stavan” CJSC was applied, boiler make-up plant in a process of Amberpack ADI, feeding pumps with speed regulation.

“Sibir Chemical Concern” JSC CHP , Seversk, Russia

Within the reconstruction company elaborated the design documentation: of boiler no. 21 installation. In the boiler NOx control is provided by process methods (underblast system, gas recirculation) provided allowable emissions under the gas and coal burning; for complete replacement of boilers no. 10, 18 heating surface. The equipage of furnaces with combined burner arrangement with burner ignition automation for fuel burning; turbine unit no.13 replacement. The turbine is located on the foundation with its particle reconstruction.
